Shipley Golf Club - Bingley - 5.37 miles
Opened in 1921 the current golf course was designed by the renowned golf course architect Dr Alister MacKenzie. Tucked away in a beautiful, mature wooded valley at Beckfoot just outside the town of Bingley in West Yorkshire. Shipley has long been known as one of the best golf courses in the Yorkshire area and, with a continuous programme of investment in the golf course and facilities, we believe we will maintain this status. The Shipley Golf Club is a regular venue for the Yorkshire County and Bradford Union Fixtures, whilst also being the home of the Bradford and District Union of Golf Clubs.

Haworth home of the Bronte Sisters is 5 minutes away
The bronte Parsonage Museum has been opening its doors for over 75 years.
Set between the village of Haworth and open moorland, the house still retains the atmosphere of the Brontes time.
Stay at Springfield and take the train from Oxenhope station, its then a pleasant walk back.

The University of Bradford - 7.37 miles
The University of Bradford, established in 1882, is located in Bradford, West Yorkshire. The student population is over 10,000, including a postgraduate population of 2,250. The University of Bradford has three campuses: the Main Campus, the School of Health and the School of Management. This University comprises of 7 schools: Engineering, Design and Technology; Health Studies; Computing, Informatics and Media; Lifelong Education and Development; Life Science; Management; and Social and International Studies. The majority of academic staff is involved in research, which is supported with laboratory and workshop facilities.

Bradford City Football Club - 8.11 miles
Bradford City Football Club has its home ground at Valley Parade, in the city of Bradford. Bradford City Football Club Formed in 1903. Tragedy came to the stadium on May 11, 1985, when a disastrous fire resulted in the deaths of 56 people. It is an all-seater stand with a capacity for 25,136 spectators. The record attendance was in 1911 when 39,146 people watched a FA Fourth Round game between Bradford and Burnley.

Sir Titus built the village to house his workers. Salts mill is a magnificent structure and home to
the largest collection of works by David Hockney. The site is preserved as a model victorian village.
While at Saltaire walk along the Leeds Liverpool canal to the 5 rise locks at Bingley.
